A Rate Confirmation ("RateCon") is a formal agreement between you (the carrier) and the freight broker that details the terms and rates for transporting a specific load.
When you upload a RateCon to TrueNorth, you create a record that you booked a load. This load will live on your Loads page in the mobile app where you'll see a list of the loads you've booked and uploaded RateCons for. Once you deliver, you'll be able to upload a POD from this Loads page, as well as other accessorial documents, so that you can easily send an invoice and get paid.
Step 1: Download the RateCon PDF to your Phone
For Android Users:
Open the email containing the RateCon.
Tap on the attachment.
Select the download icon, typically represented by a downward arrow. The document will be saved to your 'Downloads' folder.
For iPhone Users:
Open the email with the RateCon.
Tap on the attachment.
Press the share button (a box with an upward arrow) and then tap 'Save to Files'. Choose a location to save your document.
Step 2: Open the TrueNorth App
Launch the TrueNorth App on your phone. At the top of the Home screen, you'll find frequently used actions. Click on the "Upload RateCon" button to send in documents.
From the Booked Page, you can also click on the document upload button at the top right to add a new load by uploading a RateCon.
Step 3: Upload RateCon
Tap on the "Upload RateCon" button. This will prompt you to select your Rate Confirmation document from your phone's files. If you're having trouble locating the file, revisit the steps outlined in Step 1.

Confirm RateCon
Once you upload a RateCon, you will be asked to review it once you click back into the app. This can be done by clicking on the "Rate Confirmation" button. You will be able to click on the Review & Confirm Rate Confirmation section.
Once all the details are entered and approved. Click on the Save button.
View or Re-Upload
To view/edit a RateCon, first click into your desired load. Then you'll click on the Rate Confirmation button which will open a modal where you can view your RateCon or upload a new RateCon.
